Usage & Safety Notes

Material Considerations: This product is made of high-quality metal. After prolonged high-temperature use, the surface may undergo heat oxidation and develop discoloration (which is irreversible). This is a normal physical and chemical characteristic of metal and does not affect performance or safety.

Initial Use: The wick must be fully soaked in kerosene for at least 15 minutes before the first use.

High-Temperature Precautions: The stove’s upper section can reach over 100°C. When boiling water or making tea, wear heat-resistant gloves.

Adjustments & Handling: When adjusting the flame suppressor or other components, always wear gloves to prevent burns.

Fuel Guidelines

• Recommended fuel: Kerosene lamp oil, also known as ghee, Buddhist lamp oil, or paraffin oil. Kerosene is also compatible.
• Do not use gasoline, alcohol, or other highly volatile and flammable fuels.
• Allow the wick to fully absorb fuel for at least 15 minutes before ignition.
• When using kerosene, preheat the wick for about 10 minutes to stabilize the flame before adjustment.
• The fuel tank is not completely sealed—any leftover fuel must be transferred to a sealed container to prevent leakage.

Burning Warnings

• Fire viewing window and stand will become extremely hot during operation—avoid skin contact to prevent burns.
• Do not place flammable, explosive, or heat-sensitive items nearby.
• When hanging the stove, ensure it is vertically secured to a stable, heat-resistant structure.
• Keep the stove out of reach of children while in use.

Safe Operation Guidelines

• Always wear heat-resistant gloves during installation and operation.
• Keep the stove level when in use—do not tip or tilt.
• Ensure the flame is fully extinguished before storing it for safety.
• Avoid placing the stove outdoors where it may be exposed to rain, moisture, or excessive wind.
• When used indoors, inside a vehicle, or in a tent, ensure proper ventilation and fire safety precautions.

Maintenance & Care

• After use, wipe off oil stains with a dry cloth.
• For heavy stains, use an oil-removal wet wipe to clean.
• Black smoke and carbon deposits from kerosene combustion are normal phenomena and do not indicate product defects.
